Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Effie Wenzel
WENZEL, Margaret (Peggy) Effie, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018, in her adopted hometown of Brandon, FL. She was a loving Grandmother, Mother, Daughter, Wife and Friend. Peggy was the voice of those who could not speak. A tenacious animal rights advocate she fought tirelessly to better the lives of God's creatures through her longtime charitable organization PAWS of Hillsborough County. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Keith; sons, Brian and Chris; daughter-in-law, Julie and grandchildren, Jhordan, Peyton, Ryan and Leilani. She will be missed by all, great and small. A celebration of her life will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 26, 2018, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until service time. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to PAWS, P.O. Box 963, Lithia, FL 33547.
